Industrial sites often face challenges in balancing “enclosure protection” and “easy access”—especially for construction zones, marine storage, or temporary equipment covers. Our Shrink Wrap Hatch Doors solve this pain point by enabling on-demand entry without damaging the entire shrink wrap system.
For construction site temporary access, workers frequently need to enter enclosed areas (e.g., equipment shelters, material storage pods) to retrieve tools or inspect machinery. Traditional methods like cutting holes in shrink wrap require re-sealing later, wasting time and risking contamination. Our hatch doors eliminate this issue: install them directly onto fresh shrink wrap, and the inner film remains uncut until access is needed. Smaller hatches (e.g., 24”x24”) work for tight spaces like wiring maintenance or ventilation, while larger sizes (e.g., 48”x60”) let workers and small equipment pass through easily.
In marine and enclosure maintenance, boats or industrial tanks wrapped for storage need periodic checks to prevent moisture buildup. Our reusable hatch doors withstand saltwater corrosion and UV exposure, allowing repeated openings without compromising the wrap’s seal integrity. This is critical for marine yards that store boats during off-seasons—no more replacing entire shrink wrap after each inspection.

The core design focuses on longevity and convenience. Each door features a reinforced zipper system with anti-jam teeth, ensuring smooth opening/closing even after 50+ uses. Unlike disposable access panels, our doors can be removed and reattached to new shrink wrap, reducing waste and long-term costs. A key detail: the opening is ~1 foot smaller in all directions than the nominal size, creating a tight seal against the shrink wrap and preventing dust/moisture intrusion.
We use a High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) blend infused with UV stabilizers and impact-resistant additives. This material resists tears from heavy tools, withstands temperatures from -20℉ to 120℉, and maintains flexibility in cold weather—critical for outdoor construction sites in winter. The surface is treated with an anti-static coating to prevent dust buildup, keeping the zipper clean and functional.

We accept small-batch custom orders (minimum 10 units) to match unique enclosure sizes. Options include:
• Custom dimensions (up to 72”x96”) for large equipment access.
• Color coding (e.g., red for emergency access, blue for maintenance) to improve site safety.
• Add-on features like pressure-sensitive gaskets for ultra-tight seals in dusty environments.
