Cotton producers face a universal challenge: protecting cotton bales from contamination, moisture, and physical damage from harvesting to processing. Our Cotton Picker Film is engineered to solve this across three critical stages:
For large-scale farms using John Deere CP7760/CP690/CP770 or China Railway Construction Heavy Industry cotton pickers, time is critical during harvest season. Our film is pre-calibrated to fit these machines’ wrapping systems—no adjustments needed. It feeds smoothly at 20+ bales per hour, eliminating jams that delay harvesting. The film’s strong adhesion ensures it wraps tightly around bales immediately after picking, preventing loose cotton from falling out and getting contaminated by dirt.
Cotton bales often travel across regions with extreme temperature swings—from -59℉ (-50℃) in northern U.S. winters to 104℉ (40℃) in Indian summers. Our film maintains stability in this range, avoiding brittleness in cold or melting in heat. During sea freight, it resists saltwater spray and humidity, preventing mold growth that devalues cotton. For cross-country trucking, it withstands vibration and friction, keeping bales intact.
Warehouses storing cotton for 3-6 months need film that blocks dust, pests, and UV light. Our film’s multi-layer structure creates a barrier against all three: the outer layer reflects UV rays to prevent fiber aging, the middle layer repels dust, and the inner layer is treated to deter rodents. This ensures cotton retains its whiteness and fiber quality until processing.
We use 100% virgin polyethylene (no recycled materials) processed via five-layer co-extrusion—a technique supported by Dow and Exxon Mobil. Each layer serves a purpose:
• Layer 1 (Outer): UV stabilizers to resist sun damage.
• Layer 2: High-tensile fibers for strength (26.2MPa longitudinal strength, 27.7MPa horizontal strength).
• Layer 3: Moisture barrier to block humidity.
• Layer 4: Adhesive layer for tight wrapping (0.479 static friction coefficient).
• Layer 5 (Inner): Anti-microbial coating to prevent mold.
This structure outperforms competitors like TAMA: our film’s impact damage resistance is 1232g vs. TAMA’s 416g, and its elongation at break (531% longitudinal) ensures it stretches without tearing.
Unlike cheap films that require overlapping strips, our film is designed to cover entire bales in one piece using a basement film + non-adhesive film splice. This creates a seamless structure that eliminates weak points, so bales never “explode” during handling. The non-adhesive section is easy to peel off during processing, leaving no residue on cotton.
