

What Is Reinforced Shrink Wrap?
Reinforced shrink wrap is a heavy-duty version of industrial heat shrink film designed for applications where conventional shrink film may be exposed to greater mechanical stress.
The material combines heat-shrinkable film with additional reinforcement. ECOPACK offers multi-layer reinforced configurations, including 3-layer, 4-layer and 5-layer structures. Depending on the selected product configuration, reinforcement can be incorporated through scrim, mesh, laminated or other strengthening structures.
Once heat is applied, the film contracts around the load to create a close-fitting protective cover. The reinforcement helps the material withstand demanding handling conditions while limiting the spread of tears or punctures.
This combination makes reinforced heat shrink wrap particularly useful for oversized equipment, industrial components and cargo that needs more protection than a lightweight plastic covering can provide.
